Based on our belief that healthy living is the pathway to learning well, we have students trying new veggies all year long. Our goal: fresh produce, and lots of it!

HIE supports schools in hosting their own student-led Farmer’s Markets. Students sell produce to their communities, using the profits to support or develop their school’s garden program. Student-led markets mean students are surprising us with their own unique ways of garnering support from their communities. From advertising, set-up, selling and break-down, these markets are as fun as they are successful!
